Been a while since I played with one now and got out on a proper road test as it doesn’t go wrong much. There is a button to turn off advanced emergency braking (AEBS) it’s for built up traffic driving off road and manoeuvring. That system works with forward collision warning (FCW). It’s hard to replicate the point the warning comes on on the road but you cannot turn off FCW and it will show a collision warning on the dash in red and beep when the AEBS is switched off. I see this today on road test myself. It also states in the drivers hand book forward collision warning can not be switched off
