Tbh I'm not sure mate I've not had a standard one.
If your going to keep it stock and just bolt ons might be better to get a newer car.
My 09 car here had all the box mods for fast road without spending mega bucks
But if your gonna mod anyway above stage 4 and have built engine and box then savings of buying 09 will go towards mods
Or buy one modded is the other option from the start, rods are weak and my road car is limited to 730 lbft to preserve gearbox but it is bloody quick
Stock gearbox and rods will no doubt need lower than 730 lbft to keep reliable
