Straight liners top speed Tuesdays may be you best bet. There normally run at Elvington airfield near York. I did one last October with the Yorkshire Supercar owners club. Was £180 with a portion going to charity.

2 mile runway, Standing 1 Mile to accelerate and 1 mile to slow down. You can keep going once you pass the speed trap but unless you have a Vbox or similar you wont know what speed you hit. Also you still need to stop or you ass will be in the grass, then the trees etc. you get the idea.



There was a C63 estate at the last one and he managed 167 over the mile. No idea on mods or if it was standard.






The day we had was quite damp and it rained towards the end. My last run was 180 in the wet. Traction was a struggle until over 80mph as each time it came on boost it just started to spin the wheels so i had to just set of steady and build up until i could floor it. Going back this year to crack 200.
