paddle just refers to not having a solid full face friction, which is typically a non organic material.

So yes, any organic type clutch will drive a million times better than "a paddle" clutch

But of course they offer both types.

Unless you're doing serious launches at a drag strip on sticky tyres....I wouldnt be wanting any paddle clutch if it can be avoided,
