There are far better cars out there now my rs6 is frankly amazing what it does, just a remap and 0-100 mph in 7.5 seconds everytime, but I don't earn it it's all done for me like magic lol
And all that for around £40k in my mind is good for a newish car that's reliable and can be used everyday, 20+ mpg on a cruise
But it's not about that for me, in there day a cosworth for me was king if the hill, and that's what I compare to, same with my Humber it's shite by today's standards lol, but take it back to 1959 as it is today and it would be a thing of ore
I can only assume that's why cosworth prices have gone up so much the last few years, as some of the people who couldn't afford them decades ago can afford them now and willing to pay a premium for that bit of history
rs cosworths will always be the brand that started my tuning obsession, my dad used to say you can't get a pint in a quart pot son ie the big v8s from the 60s making 400 hp from big capacity, but with a yb you could, I remember I had a 2.0 yb engine with 50 hp more than my dad's 7.2 litre corvette V8
