The actual 5.0 was good, nice spread of power and I didn't mind the auto box after getting used to it. Just a shame LA traffic sucks ass so couldn't really open it up, well that a $4.60 + for fuel which sucked.

One of my friends has mentioned about putting a 5.0 into my audi quattro, he's just put a s6 (I think it was) v8TT engine in his with bigger turbo's etc.
a bloke i work with in america has the older 6 speed auto 5.0, and it is so smooth, and apparently the 10 speeds are amazing, the remaps i can get sharpens up the response of the gearbox and the changes, so hopefully it will work nice with the flappy paddles once its remapped, i like the audi engines, but love these new ford coyote v8's, this build is just a protoype or test bed, i have a mk1 transit thats getting the same basic setup, but will be way more power, build engine with a sleeved block so i can push the boost higher, the stock engine can only take about 10psi of boost, but that still get u in the 700hp ball park, being america and everything is cheaper, i can buy a forged and sleeved short engine for about $5000, this is rated are 1000hp at the wheels safe, that should make a mk1 transit hustle, with 4wd
