Interesting thread and one I am looking forward to following.
I spent a while with a few different mustangs and recently had a 5.0 for a while. It wasn't bad, the flappy paddle bit could do with some work. I found if I put it in manual it seemed to hang on for ages then finally go back into auto eventually.
The actual 5.0 was good, nice spread of power and I didn't mind the auto box after getting used to it. Just a shame LA traffic sucks ass so couldn't really open it up, well that a $4.60 + for fuel which sucked.
One of my friends has mentioned about putting a 5.0 into my audi quattro, he's just put a s6 (I think it was) v8TT engine in his with bigger turbo's etc.
