Default ford transit sleeper 2018 mustang v8

well as i have now got almost all the parts, i thought i would start a thread, the transit is a mk6 RWD, but its the rare petrol/LPG one, its also got almost every extra from the factory, twin side doors, tailgate, AC, remote central locking, rear parking sensors, electric windows, front fogs, rear step bumper/seat, the only thing missing and wasn't even an option back then is cruise control, and the build should add that,

last year i bought a 1045 mile salvage 2018 F150 pickup, with the 5.0 v8 and 10 speed gearbox, this engine is as near as damn it the same engine they fit in the 2018 mustang GT v8, its de-tuned a little, and has a different firing order ( your not aloud to fit a pickup engine in a car in america, so i think they do the firing order thing to stop u doing the swap), the intake is slightly different to the mustang as well, its designed for torque as its a truck, mustang intake is designed for performance, but other than that, i believe they are the same engine, 12:1 compression ratio, 32v, quad cams, direct injection and also port injection, and lots of other technical stuff, so its a very modern engine, the gearbox is a 10 speed auto with manual shift, double clutch set up, i have got the F150 Raptor steering wheel to give me flappy paddle option as well, getting the mustang 5.0 intake as well to help with the performance, getting a hand held remapping device (Ngauge) so i can get maps sent to tune the engine, and also delete the start/stop feature, and remove the ecu speed limiter, as i live close to Dover, i will be going over to france to get some E85 ethanol fuel, with the E85 and the mustang intake, the remap should be nudging 500hp going by the dyno graphs i've seen,

axle is coming from an american mk8 transit as they have the correct stud pattern and have factory LSD and i can change the ratio to a nice tall one, 3.08:1, and if the factory LSD is crap, then i have a choice of after market ones to choose from,

for now it will run stock exhausts from the donor truck, modified to fit the transit, maybe with a cutout to bypass the silencers, but i have bought some flanges so i can have some turbo manifolds made, and run it as a twin turbo setup, in the states this is common, and they are getting around 700hp with gt30 turbos, and a safe tune/remap, the tuning is all done to the factory ecu,

the donor truck had actually been damaged more than i knew when i bought it, as i bought it blind, so i've ended up buying another engine and gearbox as the original one is of unknow condition, but the loom and a lot of the other parts are all good, and it was cheap enough to be a donor even with a suspected dead engine. hopefully use the F150 fuel tank, and the gearbox is a 4wd/2wd, and can be run full time in 2wd mode, so as i have enough space under the van i didn't need a 2wd gearbox, saved me a few quid,

i work in the states most the year, so i have been collecting the parts over the last year, now its being packed up in a big crate and coming to the uk

the van is going to be lowered a little, but not to much, i have managed to find a spare set of the very rare Claibre Tour alloys, looking for some more so i can have a nice sticky set of tyres on one set, and some burn out tyres.

not sure how to put the pics in order, so they are a bit random, but show most the parts

should be a fun sleeper, shock a few performance cars as well
