I saw it Friday night. I thought Bale and Damon were brilliant, they did a brilliant job, Bale in particular.

They did mess with the story a bit, but that's to be expected when you have to fit it into a couple of hours. I just wish they would put a bit more effort into the driving scenes. If you're racing at Le Mans, I think you are going to be using more than 10% throttle when doing 200mph down the Mulsanne straight, so you can't just put your foot down and go faster Or, if you're flat out in top gear, you can't shift down and then accelerate

The driving scenes weren't too bad in terms of the overall footage and effects, just the usual Hollywood silliness let it down a bit.
