I've been leaning towards buying one for a while and want to try either one of these or a c63 like fuzzy's. So far i've drove for considerable time 5 mustangs.

1 previous generation of this shape - interior was god awful and very china spec
3 new shape but with eco boost engines - generally not too bad but not a proper v8 mustang.
1 brand new 5.0 v8 mustang. - This was last week I had it for a while driving around Los Angeles. I grew to like it more after the first few days and lots of miles.

Averaged around 17mpg in traffic up to 20mpg out of traffic.
Seats are awful, feel very cheap and nasty. Heating worked well (my backs been giving me issues) the cooling sounded/felt like a pipe or something was off as it sounded like static from the radio all the time it was on same on both seats but the actual seat did get cool.
Steering - compared to the 3 ecoboost ones this was the worst, bump steer and vibration through the steering wheel did not inspire confidence in driving it.
Equipment - It was fully loaded and on the whole most of the equipment was good, the toggle switches in the center console kept getting knocked by phone's etc turning off stuff like the traction or turning on the hazards. I like you can change to digital old skool gauges.
Body - Doors are very heavy with a decent clunk to shut, trunk lid felt very plastic and fragile.
Engine - 5.0 - even with the auto box it was good, better on the move than drag racing (I raced a identical one but it wasn't fantastic for either car) from about 30mph-80mph its great, sounds good etc.
Gearbox - best left in auto, using the paddle shifters just makes it harsh and you look like your a 90yr old in a mustang.

Overall its good but not enough to make me sold on wanting one. I had been looking at a 2019 5.0 gt in maroon before I went to LA but now not sure tbh. Also you can't get anyone in the rear seats they are pointless to have so it might as well just be a two seater sports car. Even with the seat forward a bit there's still no room at all.
