Hi I got a 2006 Fiesta 1.25 the radiator cooling fan is not kicking in when the car is hot and when in traffic will start to over heat and water will bubble out of expansion bottle.

so far I have changed and checked:
1: New Expansion bottle cap as thought it might be releasing pressure
2: New Engine coolant temperature sensor. The one which fitted on side of
cylinder head above gearbox on what looks like a metal housing.
3: checked the thermostat which is definitely working opens and stays open.
4: Radiator is getting hot and heater blower is blowing constant hot air so
water is circulating.

All parts fitted are genuine from Ford.

The car has A/C so when you switch A/C on the Radiator fan does come on as it performs both A/C functions and water cooling functions. However in this case it doesn't come on when the car is getting hot.!!!!

The Fan does come on if you disconnect the temperature switch!!!

Guys your help and advice would be much appreciated..
