This Mini was purchased by my friend, it had been sitting in an open space for 2 to 3 years, a cat had been living on the roof and when we arrived to collect this car all four tyres where flat and the battery was dead, once we had got it running with the aid of the starter pack we proceeded to inflate the tyres.
Once mobile the car was taken straight to the MOT station, to my disbelief, it went straight through and passed, as my friend had only insured it for the day, the car was driven to my shop to be cleaned up ready for sale, well after 5 days of graft the car now looked like the low mileage car that it is, my wife had been watching the work on my Facebook page and was showing some interest in the car, knowing that she would not want to use her porsche through the winter she decided to come to the shop and have a look at the mini in the flesh, well it was love at first sight and she decided to purchase it, this did mean that I would now have to use my weeks work towards the price so she could get a good deal on the car, but as we all know they get the money in the end anyway.
