Fiesta Final Drive Help Needed
Hey guys
I have a Ford Fiesta 1.6 zetec se race car. I race oval track. We only use 2nd gear and I’m finding that I’m reving out a good car length before the corner. I was running 195/50/15 tyres so I moved up to 195/55/15 that has helped abit but now losing power coming out of the bends. Is their another final drive or gear cluster I could put in to stop this and give myself better acceleration.
Dose anyone have the gear ratios for the fiesta as the Haynes manual dose say that,
1st-3.58
2nd-204
Final drive 3.82.
But looking on the internet and different forums and it’s says the fiesta 1.6 zetec is running a 4.27 final drive.
If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great.
