From EX Auto sparks now retired at 76, fully conversent with Bosch "K" and "KE" systems, the system is much more mechanical than Electrical when engine Hot and running, yes there are lots sensors / components 2 ECUs , ignition silver / injection black.... but its all old school.....so in awnser to your question, the Fuel Distributor has a "Pressure actuator" on the front....voltage when running..NONE !... if it ever did....would barely run....it comes into play on starting ONLY and self resets on the "Bi-metal princible" as outher components do. so need to know the engine problem , can help with diagnosis.
