Yea the setup is extremely rare! Thatīs why i made new piping instead of cutting the old things up.
What ratio pulleys are you going to run then? also with intercooler?
@Mad Matt I have the 60 mm core. It doesnīt have oil cooling yet. First i want to have an temp and pressure sender in it to see how hot it actually gets. But i guess it needs one!
@jonfoc The top part has cowling to maximize air to the intercooler and to the rad. The bottem part still must be done but that will pretty tricky to make it look good with the rs500 bumper. Already bought the hood and rs500 bumper to max out the air going to air to the radiator and let the heat escape out the hood. And i was told that cowling only does work on low speeds if you drive 80mph it is pretty
irrelevant as it it is pretty much up to the rad itself at that speed.
I was thinking to try a smaller pulley on the pump to have a little more flow through the engine to compensate the pump pushing hot coolant down. Maybe a 2 degree lower thermostat. Put in a second temperature sensor to measure the temp going into the engine so i can also measure what is the most effictive. The tempurature sensor is on the stock position but i made it into a hot spot because of the modifications which can give a bit of false reality...
And also put in a electric pump the keep flow going if the engine is stalled.
If that all doesnt work i guess i need a dual rad setup as i donīt know anything else...
