hi,

its a kit car install with 2wd thermostat housing and pump. I'm not sure what is the correct routing of the water back into the cooling system after its been through the modine. if the modine returns to the top rad hose the water from the modine is not flowing through the thermostat and the engine takes ages to warm up and runs too cold but if modine's water returns to the small 16mm inlet on the pump (or the bottom rad hose) then the heated water from the modine is bypassing the rad and the engine runs hot when idling.
