Strangely I was watching an episode of hot rod garage last night and they was using a 5.3 engine, it had been returned back to carb setup and with nitrous added. They seemed to think it went well but a)hard to tell unless either seen in person or timed at the strip b)it was in a land barge cadillac so weight wouldn't help.
