Nothing is going to hurt the bearings unless it's been left outside and full of water, I would just service it and start it, I've used engines that have been stood over 10 years, the only issues I've seen are seals get hard with age and can leak

I can never see any sense in fixing things that aren't broken it's just work creation imo
cambelt, get oil pressure then start it, thats the correct way of doing this!
