Yeah, it would be wrong to ruin yours. I do sort of hope to find a car that has sat in a dry garage though to save on rust repairs.
mine was dry stored for years but I have still found a few repairs required when I have removed the wings. Only minor and wouldn’t be picked up on an mot but they would slowly get worse and no doubt if you strip a car for a 6r4 rep similar things will be found
