I have 2 of the 3kw fan heaters in a 9x8m internal single height workshop.
no wall or roof insulation and a draughty roller shutter.
Both on the easily take the chill off.
They will raise the panel temps of a car by around 3-4degrees after a couple of hours use.

I too didn't want propane due to the moisture content.
