Lead acid are not deep cycle battery's, i.e. they are not designed/will cause damage by draining and recharging them as you have.

You should buy a trickle charger/conditioner for this, these work the battery and compensate for internal discharge/parasitic draw and prevent sulfation of the plates.

As said your just wasting your time, is there any reason why you can't simply buy another?
