I think you must be pretty laid back as you accepted your admin girls lack of gratitude for your generous gift so well!!! What is wrong with her! In this day and age to get anything from your boss at Christmas is unusual!!
A while back I was given a box full of Sierra parts for nothing and I gave them away to Ford enthusiasts all over the UK and Europe/USA. All I asked for was for them to make a small donation to Marie Curie Cancer Care and pay for the postage. They were all very grateful and I was happy to have been able to help them out.
