one thing I have learned when doing nice things for other people....much of the British population struggle with saying Thank You....not all, just a lot.
i gave one of my admin staff her Xmas bonus and as she was going off to Thailand for Xmas, I gave her a pre-paid credit card with £250 on it and £50 in Aussie dollars as she was going on to Aus to see family....not a thanks when she went and when she got back I asked if she had any probs using the card, "it worked fine" she said....not a thanks In sight. I a, sure she appreciated it in some way but struggled to articulate it maybe?
on the flip side, I have sent people on here items and they have been full of thanks and appreciation.
