What was wrong with the Galaxy? Not an exciting car, but a sturdy people bus, if that's what you need. These kind of tie-ups are inevitable really, especially with the car industry in the state it's in. We might all like Ford but, they are in a shit state and not making any money. It makes absolute sense to share resources and jointly develop products.

Let's face it, if people remove the blinkers, VAG make some fantastic products, so I don't mind being able to benefit from some of that tech, but combine it with some of the good stuff from Fords.
