Hi guys. Long overdue update.
Nearly finished with the engine now. Just waiting to find a 2wd sump, one of which (has a bolted in breather return line) I am waiting a reply on postage charge etc etc.
Also ordering up the new seals and gaskets (bar head gasket), then the rocker cover, ream beam etc can go off to be powder coated.

Cleaned up the block and head and gave them a lick of paint.





















Stripped back the water pump and a new lick of paint.









Same with the PAS Pump.









The Crank Seal and Oil Pump covers came up very well too.





Gave the alternator bracket a clean and paint too.




I used Plumbers tap tape to protect the paint on the bolts when I torqued them up to spec. Worked a treat. Used the colour Ford Wedgewood Blue Paint.









Cleaned up the inlet side of the engine including the throttle body.







Just got to rub the last small remaining bits of rust of the front brakes and clean up the rears then they will be painted soon.





Bit of a bodge with the bike pump, but it got the pistons out a treat
