I have noticed that the subframe has a lot of surface rust and one of the rubber mounts is deformed, I started to look at powerflex options and soon found that you can return the TT to the pre-recall suspension bushes and mounts and this makes them less prone to understeer, far more darty and more like a boxster so I will go for that option and have the subframe stripped and powder coated.
just ordered a 30l ultrasonic cleaner to clean up all the ally bits and will do a full underside rests whilst it is apart.
