Not correct. Back pressure within correct limits. But you do like with any other turbo use the correct one for the job you want it to do.
Dont put on a wrong size turbo and expect it to keep making power when the engine is beond its efficiency band and has to have a bigger turbo to make it work.

At high rpm are the egts still fine on say the 7064 and 7670 at say over 2 bar of boost?
Even if flat on say a top speed run?
Also do the efrs actually run cooler than other make turbos as Toby sugggested?
