Hi guys I was wondering if anyone could help me i been reading and reading on here for the last 2 weeks iv lernt so much but im not getting any where.
I got a rs turbo s2 mfi its standard apart from stainless steel exhaust, new bigger fuel pump, 31 actuator, silicon boost hoses, had the fly wheel lightened a little not much but don't kno if it was balanced. I'm having trouble on boost it seems like it's holding back, it feels like it wants to go and sometimes it does , second gear is perfect . I dont think it's missing it feels like it surges, it's boosting around 0.5. It starts on the bottom when hot or cold. Iv checked timing to 12 degrees b4 with vacuums blocked, I put it on my CO machine tonight it's only a cheapy but it works good and the co was 10.00 iv set it to 1.7 and it seems alot better but I don't kno if that's right and it still don't feel right iv change plugs original ford, new dizzy cap, new rotar arm new coil, iv put a set of leads on 0.8mm I would love to book it in to a rolling road rs specialist and just have it sorted but I live in Tenerife there's only 2 rs turbo here. They have a rolling road over here but I'm scared to take it dont want to them to blow it or something , you think they would kno what's up with a rolling road and not being rs turbo speilest. Iv done a boost leak test all new jubily clips on all hose to anal valve ect. Any help would be appreciated iv tried a different ECU and act sensor havnt tried a temp sensor yet or fuel ECU im thinking it could be the metering unit is fu#ked not delivering the fuel correctly I'm gonna take injectors out on weekend and see if there spraying correctly.
If anyone can think of anything I'm pulling my hair out here lok. Im even thinking of driving to uk to get it sorted lol
