Drivers mount went together like a dream, it runs close to the turbo but it will be fine. I have noticed some big power 1.8ts in 944s have the turbo in front of the engine as there is a load of room, I think I will do this when I go for more power but I want to get it driving first.
my mate dropped off a single mass g60 flywheel and vr6 clutch cover to try, if these work I will buy one of his g60 lightened flywheels that he sells. The tipec thread used a 2.0 Vw van clutch plate to match the 944 splines but it was 1.5mm too thick so he just spacered it out, I am hoping I can use a vr6 clutch plate and have it remade with correct splines as that will be needed for over 300 bhp.
