Today I finished welding up the passenger side engine mount and just need to give it a lick of paint before it can be used to support the engine. I also made a threaded rod so now i can lower the engine on the crane and now slide the Engine right up to the bellhousing for simple alignment, I was glad to see the the needle roller spigot bearing slips snugly on to the torque tube nose.
now I will source my clutch and single piece flywheel.
i should finish the drivers side mount next week as it is already templated on the block and the bottom part is welded up so need to mount the little turbo for now and make sure they don’t foul each other. I will run the engine standard first and then mod for bigger turbo.
