I can’t answer your question on the other thread but I am not going carbon roof, no. The 205 roof is so thin that it sags if you put a cup of tea in the middle so I don’t think I will save a huge amount for the cost and effort involved.
Yeah I understand wanting to do everything. I try do as much as I can but biggest issue for me is time currently. I think i'm just going to get everything together and put it all on in one hit. I am hopefully going to be working from home just after Christmas so I will have more spare time.
Thank you for answering I saw the thread was closed which is a shame. Hopefully it will be opened back up so we can follow the car coming together.
I'm 50/50 currently between a carbon roof or a saratoga glass sunroof for the 944 currently. When I was last at the storage unit I found the sunroof was a pita to shut and stay shut so I am expecting it to leak at some point and thinking to just skip that step and fix it when I have it sprayed.
