Thanks mate, it is a really nice conversion to do as the original 944 engine is very long to the smaller engine going in means you have loads of room left at the front and only really the cam belt is forward of the front axle so the engine is way back in the car, I guess you could call it front mid engined. If you were really in to it there is room to move the whole engine back behind the axle line if you didnt mind moving the heater box and chopping the torque tube but I prefer to keep it simple.
My mate "the transplanter" came over yesterday and showed me a better way of doing the mounts and dropped off a tin sump for me to cut down.
