Over the last couple of days I have removed the seats, stripping them down and extracting any metal.
Price a couple of weeks ago was 11p per kg for steel, the front seat mount and slider is approx. 8kg and the bar in the headrest 750 grams so worth about £1 per seat, then there is the base and back and the rear seats so every little bit helps.
The steel space saver wheel is around 6kg.

I have a gearbox, steering rack, starter motor and alternator plus a few other bits kept from other cars which can be weighed in and then replaced once this car finally meets its end.
