i agree but I cannot find a garage I can trust, my local garage don’t want to do it due to the value of the car etc and they prefer to do mot, servicing and brakes etc they tend to not do bigger jobs anymore

there is a local specialist but I know so many people who have been to them with complaints that I won’t go to them.

id do it myself but I’m not satisfied I fully understand it. As in my mind you should lock the cams and count the teeth to make sure the correct teeth line up on old and new (on the belt that is)
