evening folks looking for a bit of advise,

got a mk2 mondeo auto, thing is the gearbox/lever won't go into "P".

i can get R, N, & D but i can't get park or 1 & 2 .

anyone know what the problem could be?? hopefully its an easy fix.

also does anyone know if it's an MOT failure if the auto box won't go into park? got the MOT next week.

anyone able to help??
