It is most likely the sensor on the drivers side. Could be coincidence, or you may have unknowingly pulled on the cable or something. You can take the sensor out and test it but you may as well replace it as they are cheap enough, I bought a cheap Chinese special off eBay a few years ago and it worked fine. If the sensor doesn't fix it then I'd be checking for continuity through the loom back to the control module.
