Yep its exactly as it was when it was working seconds earlier. Literally opened it, carefully lifted the batter and replaced it. I believe they lose settings if the battery is out for 20 seconds and that may have been the case as I was being careful, but then you are supposed to be able to re programme it in learning mode which isn't working. Chip working as the key starts the car and opens the doors, just not the remote locking.
