Thieves are getting more brazen at car shows, I heard a storey that someone with a MK2 escort RS2K had his fuel tank strap nicked whilst the car was parked in the concourse area at a show, someone had the Roland’s to get under the car and remove it inside the show area, also heard stories of the tracker devices too, always worth checking your car before leaving a show and as said don’t leave your bonnet open whilst you are absent from the car.

Disc lock is a good deterrent but they need a bit of modding to make them more effective, namely two extra bars welded on the reverse side. Also have heard stories on them being removed by thieves and cars being stolen.
