For fuel lines...will sort of depend what fittings etc you intend to use at each end. But stainless would certainly be an option, or cheaper..copper.

Or if you can sort suitable fittings, nylon will never rust.
I was going to refurbish the original ones there not in bad condition tbh I’ve got them to bare metal now I was just thinking of the best route to go as for refinishing them to last that’s why I thought of zinc plating them before paint I’m going to have a look into the stainless and kunifer options the fuel lines are going to keep the push on ford fittings for now
