Once it was home I started to look at what I had bought and was not impressed. Have to say I was a bit naïve, the car had been used for competition, rallying so was never going to be a show car.

Anyway it all started when I tried to sit in the drivers seat trying to imagine me flying around a track when reality hit, I am too fat to sit in a standard bucket seat!!

So the seats had to be removed then anything else that I did not like the look of, which was everything.

The doors were in very bad shape so were removed followed quickly buy the tailgate and bonnet.

In the end I had a very large scrap pile and just the body of a car which had some damage to the front and the rear panel was being held together with metal tape.
