Ok lets get honest about things,, most of the above means nothing , unless they make make it Law that they have to take the DPF completely off or they have other means of detecting that no DPF is present mot stations just don't have the time to mess about taking things to bits, I bet there are hundreds and thousands of cars getting passed that should have a DPF and don't,, a quick search on the net tells you that there are still shed loads of garages willing to De DPF and remap.. just like the mot cant detect if you have no cat on a diesel.. we were all told to buy diesels years ago and now we are told the opposite , they will also be loads of people not wanting to say anything on this forum that have no DPF .. also hundreds of people will have bought a diesel not knowing this has already been done and are just a innocent party..
