Back again. Long story why I took so long but got around to her today. I used metal epoxy as it was really cheap and I’m nuts deep in the car already. Just back from a test drive and what I found was she definitely climbed the rev range much faster. My advice if your using this stuff is give it every chance to work, but test that it stuck properly before you close the unit. A lump of this stuff will eat the gears quick fast if it comes free 😂. Best of luck to anyone with this fault. It’s an easy fix so don’t be afraid to try. Loads of stuff there on google and YouTube. I picked up a real hand tip get rid of the knuts holding on the unit as they need to be turned off fully with a spanned. Then grease the threads and fit normal knuts! Makes fitting and removal a walk in the park.
