Default escort track car

always wanted an escort track car was more after a mk2 escort but the price you have to pay for a shell that needs about 40 hours welding just didn't seem right, or all the ones that were for sale was not really what i was after either the spec or price, then this escort cosworth cadge shell came up for sale so i though i would build my own one i bought it from a ford garage in oakham took it home and put it on my frame i had made when i restored a mk2 escort and a mk1, a few mods to the frame and the cosworth was on, there was a bit of damage on the floors and front chassis legs apart from that all the rest was very good still all the original panels a few small dents but nothing major, repaired the floor then decided to take it to the local blaster to get all the under seal removed from the floor, was really happy with the job they did it was more like a pink powder they used rather than grit, lucky it was a dry day so took it home and gave it 2 coats of etch primmer, i have fitted the rear beam so i could get the brackets welded on for the rear blade and started repairing some of the small dents and getting them all primed up, engine away getting a few upgrades to run 500 bhp i didn't have a good came cover so got MT to make a new one i have most of the parts to build the shell back up apart from a gearbox coilovers cooler rear diff and propbebly loads of small parts lol anyway here's a few pics of how it looks atm
