I've used dry ice to fit liners into a tractor engine.

I'd imagine the Dynamat shatters when it's iced.
I tried a can of plumbers pipe freeze today as an experiment, it goes to minus 50 in 5 mins and the dynamat just broke up BUT it used a £22 can to do 1 sq ft. I like the idea of dry ice but will try a heat gun and a pallet knife before I go down that route....I can see fingers breaking off with my medical error history
