Hi guys

I'm having trouble with the air recirculation keep turning itself on. Often I will be driving for a bit then it just turns itself on, some times it won't turn off when pressing the button and the light will faintly stay on after turning the ignition off.

I find myself having to open the windows more now because of moisture build up

I took the car into a garage and they said it was tricky and not a simple case of replacing the button. The button is controlled by a £300 controller or something

I was just wondering if what I was told sounds likely to be the problem or if it could be something else and be an easy fix
