I need the OD of the RS struts. I have the hub carriers, hubs disks and calipers but will be getting some struts to match, and I will probably get Bilsteins as I have some rear bilstein coilovers already. I may then have to covert the struts to coilovers as I don't think they make them for the RS, I just need to know that the converter kit will fit
It looks like the RS struts are 53mm and the standard focus inc. st170 is 45mm
Just some thoughts going ahead for 2018 on the cars:
I planned on turning the 1.6 into a track car keeping the engine as a 1.6 and doing a bit of tuning but that has now gone out of the window and the plan now is still to turn it into a track car but with an engine swap, this will mean stealing parts from my other cars including the turbo focus, st170 and escort. Plans are still changing daily but I have made a small start stripping out the interior, will update when some proper progress has been made.
