I will start by saying it’s not my photo and yes I’ve pinched it from google, some take offence to this.

So the charge cooler has three coolant conections.

Small / top one is an air bleed to the top of the header tank.

Top / back just goes down to the top of the rad.

Bottom / front goes down to the pump. From the pump to the alloy cross over pipe. From the cross over pipe to the other side of the rad.

Half way a long this is a spur to the bottom of the header tank to allow for expansion and contraction of the coolant.
