It's on the front left side of the engine mate. Never had to do a starter on any v6 engine. If you get it on a mb star tester you find the code you have will point to the module mate.
thanks, looks like it should be an easy thing to fit. I don't have any fancy testing gear, it was my mates basic code reader/delete that threw up the p0670 code for glow plug circuit.
