a few wrong things on my 2000 ka
so recently my ka started overheating and leaking fluids, i fixed it with a makeshift tee and leak stopped (got a thread somewhere here about it), worked fine for a few months.
Now problem appeared again only worse.... i saw a cloud of smoke coming out of bonnet, engine started making noises but it got me home working like a transit di engine. I figured engine was already ruined so kept driving.....
Let it cool down started the car and worked fine, so i opened the bonnet and found that it leaked oil all over the engine. I filled the oil and water and found a leak had a loose clip. gakset looks fine as its's keeping the oil in a nice color. After i sorted the liquids i noticed that the fan isn't working, so i cut the wires and made it on a relay with ignition so now i turn the fan on and off. then i found that the bottle cap was cracked from several places and was blowing out, replaced aswell only to find a leak in the radiator...
PS. there is no temp gauge only light that is coming on on ignition but not when overheating, need to sort that out.
My questions are:
Will the ac still work? considering i cut the fan to make it manual or is the fan for ac only? do they share the same fan?
is there a diagram of how the original cooling system was? as i think someone screwed up on mine, heater doesn't heat and doesn't have pipes connected (not normal?) also there are some shady fittings in the mix.
Any help appreciated.
