Top the car up with water, you need a good torch. Run the car and with the torch look to the right hand side of the cylinder head and you will see the thermostat / coolant manifold over the top of the gearbox. You will probably see it dripping and or pink coolant crystals around it and the gearbox.

When you take it of make sure to clean the head up before fitting the new one.
